i've noticed that the server has alot of the hl2, css and dod maps.
i believe that most of these maps are never used and and of no use. my proposal is that we find about 50 good maps and put in this thread.

these are just some maps that are options. and yes i have payed these in sp and the train construct used to be on the server

Well i wanted to make a big thing of it, and i think 50 is too many as there are not that many good maps. I'd say 10 - 15 is better but good ones

To be honest, we only use one map at any time and multiple maps just take the piss and no one really likes switching.

You just want one map that generally suits everything, not many maps that suit just one thing.

Also you need to get real about it, do you really think, as a community, we would continually switch maps everyday just get a bit of everything.

It's really not worth it... One good map will do please.

Doesn't look all that big, though. Bit dull looking on the colour side of things as well.

i am not an expert map maker and so its quite plain but it is big and, well good for offroading people like me. its more to my taste.
it may look dull but ultimate hill grass looks bright but small...

edit: although it may be dim, i am making a v2 so it will be a bit brighter and lighting...well, i want a day and night version but i don't know how to do night. and the "sun" thing is not going well

thats more of a race track and i have been on it. its small and boring. although my map was not very good, i am making a v2 and v2 night version. the night one will prob be just for me and the map is pitch black, bit like darkgrass except no black wall thing

I would reccomend gm_castlesiege_v2... but I can't seeing as it needs EP2 for textures!

How about Siege? The only weapons we have are crowbars and crossbows. There are two teams: Defenders and attackers. Attackers have to get to the top of the keep, defenders have to stop them.
